That鈥檚 why we鈥檙e thrilled to have launched our new partnership with to introduce the 鈥淕et on the Bus鈥� program, a groundbreaking initiative that removes barriers and opens doors for more local students to play, learn, and thrive.
Bringing Soccer鈥攁nd Opportunity鈥攖o More Kids
Starting this month, 鈥淕et on the Bus鈥� provides free after-school soccer and STEM enrichment to 4th and 5th grade students across 乌鸦视频. Through this six-week pilot program, students will take part in small-group soccer sessions led by licensed coaches, hands-on STEM learning, and mentorship that connects lessons from the field to life and leadership off of it.
Transportation, uniforms, equipment, healthy snacks, and academic support are all included at no cost to families. The program was designed to eliminate both financial and transportation barriers that often prevent children from accessing youth sports鈥攁nd to create a model that celebrates teamwork, perseverance, and joy.
A Shared Commitment to Equity and Inclusion
乌鸦视频 serves students who are over 80% global majority and over 60% from low-income families. Starfire Sports, based in Tukwila, shares Impact鈥檚 vision of creating equitable access to sports, education, and community connection.
This partnership is about more than just soccer鈥攊t鈥檚 about empowering the whole child. When students have the chance to move their bodies, explore STEM, and build friendships, they grow in confidence, teamwork, and curiosity. We鈥檙e proud to be creating that opportunity alongside Starfire. Through partnerships like this one, we鈥檙e helping to level the playing field – literally and figuratively – for our scholars and families.
