"Child Find" Process
At ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ we believe that all scholars are able to succeed, with the correct support. We are deeply committed to providing this support.  Our schools use a process called "Child Find" to identify and evaluate any scholar with a suspected disability. Signs that a child may have a disability include difficulty meeting milestones in one or more of the following areas:
- Vision and hearing
- Speech or communication skills
- Motor control or coordination
- Behavior or social skills
- Intellectual or academic skills
If you are at all concerned that your scholar might have a disability, please reach out to any of the following people to support you in next steps:Â
- Your scholar’s teacher
- Your school’s administration team
- Trisha Shipman, Director of Special Education (tshipman@impactps.org)
